We went backsplash shopping today. Quite an endless array of choices at Volpe Tile. Fortunately we had Sue to guide us through the process.
We managed to limit our choices down to two. Couple pics below. Would appreciate your opinion.

How fortunate we are to be your parents, invited for a delicious Holiday Dinner prepared in your almost completed beautiful new kitchen! The pictures are wonderful however do not show how exquisite it truly is. You two made excellent choices and we are so very proud of you! You should be beaming! We are!
I vote etched field blend. Perfect complement to the sparkle of your granite and the warmth of your cabinets.
I vote for the etched field blend, it looks elegant. It looks like less of a pattern compared to the Negev, the individual tiles look bigger than the Negev sample, (or so it appears) and looks like a splash of color versus a lot of color and pattern. I think it is really pretty, if you have some spares left over, will you do your small room between the dining room and the Grand Kitchen? Good job!
OK mow what did you decide about the glass in the cabinets, can Sue suggest something?
Thanks for your comments.
Yes - the butler’s pantry will also have the same backsplash.
Looks like your friends and family all agree but you need to make the final decision.
Dad wants to know where the Butler will sleep!
Who is the manufacturer of the tile. I have only the back-splash left to do after a long kitchen remodel and they are what I have been looking for. I like the Negev Blend. Good luck. Kathleen
The tiles are from Soho Studio.
Hi, I am remodeling m kitchen also!, I have been going nuts looking for a backsplash. I have finally made a decision and it is the etched field blend. My cabinets are exactly the same as yours. My counter is yukon gold which has browns and silver as well as gold. I would love to see pictures of your finished kitchen to see what you decided. Please respond.
We ended up going with the etched field blend. The pictures don’t do it justice - we are thrilled: http://akitchenremodel.com/?p=369
